Designed by an experienced Non-Executive Director and Chartered engineering professional… this program has been designed to help those on boards and committees to develop and leverage essential board skills for effective function, performance and impact.

This course is specifically tailored for engineering professionals of all disciplines and at any career stage. You will learn practical administrative, business and technical skills to implement into your board work. By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with advanced knowledge and tools to optimise your practice as an effective board or committee member.

Program outline

Join Board and engineering leader and facilitator, Stacey Daniel on a 6-week journey followed by 3-months of support to learn about board essentials, functions and impact you can have as a board or committee member, whether you are new, emerging or experienced in the boardroom.

You’ll walk away with clarity and confidence about boardroom practices… everything you need to ensure you optimise practice, function and performance in your board and committee roles . More specifically, you’ll learn about:

• Roles and responsibilities
• Board essentials
• Structures and systems
• Board function and dynamics
• Board meetings and decision making
• Performance and impact

The course includes:

• Six (6) weekly online 1-hour sessions (July to September)

Program Dates

The program starts early July 2025 and will run weekly until early September 2025, followed by fortnightly coaching sessions for 3-months of ongoing coaching support.

Cost

Cost of the program is AUD$990 inc GST. This is tax deductible and your hours can be claimed for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
